Security Engineer

About the Job

As a Security Engineer, you will contribute to enterprise-scale security engineering initiatives, working across architecture, engineering, product, and delivery teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performance systems aligned with long-term business goals. This role requires strong ownership, technical clarity, collaboration discipline, and the ability to support enterprise-quality outcomes in modern product environments.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience in enterprise software, product engineering, or aligned technical environments.
• Strong problem-solving and system design capabilities.
• Experience working in scalable, distributed, or cross-functional delivery environments.
• Experience with security controls, identity, access management, compliance, or application security practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in product-based organizations, enterprise platforms, or SaaS environments.
• Exposure to globally distributed teams, structured release cycles, and high-accountability delivery models.
• Strong understanding of scalability, performance, quality, and long-term maintainability.
• Exposure to IAM frameworks, secure SDLC, application reviews, or threat assessment workflows.

Responsibilities

• Support secure engineering practices across applications, platforms, identity systems, and delivery workflows.
• Identify and improve control gaps related to risk, access, technical governance, or secure configuration.
• Collaborate with engineering and cloud teams to strengthen enterprise security posture.
• Support remediation, review, monitoring, and security maturity programs across systems.
• Contribute to practical and scalable security alignment within enterprise product environments.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field preferred. Equivalent practical experience may be considered.

• CISSP (preferred)
